Retail Therapy

Shopping for comfort, I can tell you, is a real thing. I tell you this from experience. I tell you this because I have a problem. That's right, I probably need some sort of AA for shoppers.

My name is Samira and I have a Shopping Problem. It all started when I lost my job about two months ago, I was never an avid shopper. Really only shopping when I needed it, and always with in a budget (see here), I have lost my way.

I claimed in the post above (link) that I rarely spend any more than $10 on anything, and although I have stuck within the limit for the most part (that is a lie) I seem to have overstepped my boundary in the past few weeks with all the money that I do not have.

Twice.
Two shopping trips was all it took, spending a mere $35 on multiple items of clothing in the first (it may not seem like a lot but when you are jobless it is everything) and a whopping $97 in the next. I bought three pairs of shoes in a day.

Inspiration: the Leather Jacket

If there is one classic staple that every man and woman should have, it is with no doubt a leather jacket. These things are like gold to me, and it is very much so impossible to look any less than aesthetically pleasing in one. Appropriate at any time your outfit can be dressed up or down and worn for both day and night with a simple jacket, not to mention the essence of hardcore vibes that you will be emitting to everyone around you. It's like magic!

Outfit Post 3

So the secret to this outfit post….is that I’ve already posted it. (see here) It’s just a little bit adapted to the cooler days with a jumper. We may or may not have been shooting this in the freezing cold, causing the goose bumps to erupt. Although it isn’t the warmest of jumpers, ofcourse it helps.

This jumper style is particularly one of my faves because of its somewhat skeletal structure, whoever came up with it is such a genius that I bought it in several different colours. No other style does peek-a-boo better.
